Rising Star Spotlight: TITUS LAMBERT

Titus Lambert is an emerging junior golfer from North Texas who has quickly built a reputation as one of the most promising young players in his age group. Based in the McKinney/Frisco area, Titus has competed extensively on the Texas junior golf circuit and has earned recognition through consistent tournament success at a very young age.

Known online through his golf profile @titusgolfs, Titus has shared highlights of a standout competitive season that included multiple victories, runner-up finishes, and top-three results across more than twenty tournaments. His early accomplishments also include recording two hole-in-ones, a rare feat for any golfer and especially notable for a youth player.

Titus has represented Team iGEN Golf, where he won in his first event under the team banner. He has also competed in higher-level junior events, including the Dallas Junior Open, where he posted impressive scores against older and more experienced competition. In addition, he was recognized in the Drive, Chip & Putt Regional Qualifier at PGA Frisco, one of the top youth golf development programs in the United States.

Recently, Titus has taken another major step forward — currently ranked Top 3 in the 11–12 year-old division (18 holes), despite being only 10 years old. Even more impressive, he will be competing this coming weekend without a caddie, showing maturity, independence, and confidence beyond his years.

Beyond tournament results, Titus has gained visibility through social media and junior golf content, including appearances connected to major golf personalities and events. His growing experience, competitive mindset, and early achievements suggest strong long-term potential as he continues to develop his game.

With talent, tournament experience, and years of development still ahead, Titus Lambert is a junior golfer to watch in the coming years.

We at iGEN GOLF recently asked Titus a few questions so you can get to know him a bit better — here are his replies:

  1. How old were you when you started playing golf? 5 years old

  2. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you on the course? I was golfing with my dad and he hit a terrible shot next to a lake, and then proceeded to slip and fall into the water and he got  soaked

  3. If you could play one round anywhere in the world, where would it be? Augusta National Golf Club

  4. What do you think about right before you swing? Trusting myself and my swing and focusing on hitting the ball where I want.

  5. If golf had walk-up music like baseball, what song would you choose? Lose Yourself by Eminem

  6. What’s one golf skill you want to get really good at this year? Putting

  7. If you could make one rule change in golf, what would it be? Players are allowed practice swings out of bunkers

  8. What’s cooler: sticking an iron shot close or sinking a long putt? Sticking an iron shot close

  9. If your golf ball could talk, what would it say after you hit it? Ouch

  10. What’s your favorite club in your iGEN Golf set, and why? 7 iron is the perfect length for me and is my most consistent club in the bag

  11. If you could play golf with any famous person, who would it be? Scottie Scheffler of course

  12. What’s harder: hitting a bunker shot or finishing homework fast? My school district doesn’t give us homework so hitting a bunker shot is harder

  13. If you made your own golf course, what crazy hole would it have? There would be a 750 yard par 6

  14. What’s the best shot you’ve ever hit? My 1st Hole in One when I was 6 years old. I hit my fairway wood 104 yards on a par 3 at Irving Golf Course in Dallas during a US Kids Golf Tournament which I ended up winning with a score of 38 (9 holes)

  15. Do you like practicing putting, chipping, or driving the most? Driving

  16. What snack should every golfer bring to the course? Beef Stick

  17. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Either on a D1 college golf team or playing professional golf for the PGA

  18. Do you play a musical instrument? Not yet, but I’m about to start playing the French Horn

  19. Other than golf - what’s your favorite sport? If not golf, then Soccer.

Titus is clearly a talented, driven, and grounded young golfer with a bright future ahead. His passion for the game, competitive mindset, and fun personality make him a standout both on and off the course. We’re proud to have Titus representing #TEAMIGEN and can’t wait to watch his journey continue.

Thank you, Titus, for taking the time to answer our questions and allowing us to get to know you better. We’re all cheering you on and wishing you continued success this season and beyond! ⛳👏
