Here’s why this matters to you as a parent:

 

Loft = How High the Ball Goes

Loft controls how easily your child can get the ball into the air.

If loft isn’t right:

• The ball may fly too low

• Distance gaps between clubs won’t make sense

• Your child may struggle to hold greens

Proper loft helps:

• Build confidence

• Create predictable distances

• Make the game more enjoyable

Lie = Where the Ball Starts

Lie angle controls direction.

If the lie angle is off:

• The ball may consistently start left or right

• Your child may try to “fix” it with their hands

• Swing habits can develop that are hard to undo later

When lie is correct:• The club sits flat at impact

• The ball starts on target

• Your child doesn’t need to compensate
