No — absolutely not.

At iGen Golf, all players are welcome to participate, regardless of what brand of clubs they use.  You do not have to play iGEN irons to compete in our events.

 

Open to Everyone (Ages 6–18)

Our tournaments are open to junior golfers ages 6–18.  Our mission is bigger than equipment.

We want to:

• Grow the game

• Support junior development

• Create a positive, family-oriented environment

• Provide healthy, competitive opportunities

Whether your child plays iGEN, another brand, or a mixed set — they are welcome.

Our Tournaments are TUGR (15-18 div)

• TUGR stands for The Universal Golf Rankings — a modern golf ranking system that aims to evaluate golfers globally and inclusively, using performance-based data rather than just traditional tour points.

• It ranks golfers based on a strokes-gained head-to-head model — comparing performance relative to other players under the same conditions (course, event, weather).

• TUGR is not the same as the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) — which is the traditional pro golf ranking used for major event eligibility.

• The goal of TUGR is to be unbiased, transparent, and more reflective of true performance across tours, levels, and regions.
